IQ screen off -> screen on backlit off
Anyone else experiencing strange behavior when suspending the IQ? And perhaps know what might be causing this? I did a factory restore last light but today it happend again.
When I shortpress the powerbutton to turn off the screen I notice that after I while the screen is on again but with backlit off which leads to a quick battery drain... |

IQ difficult to turn off
Yes, I have the same problem, after installing the 2.02 and 2.03 firmware. It is very difficult to switch off the IQ in a proper way. When pushing the poweroff-button, then at the same time you have to push firmly the `poweroff' button on the screen. That is often going wrong. When you are too late, the screen is getting black, but the device is not really switched off. It is in standby and it will switch on by itself again and at least it is still taking power from the battery. Anyone ideas how to solve this problem?

Ahhh Gotcha... I did not pay close attention to this and was wondering why my IQ kept turning itself on.

I've noticed this too. You have to be very careful when turning it off--long press the power button, wait for the onscreen prompt, and while still holding the power button tap the onscreen prompt. Make sure you see the "shutting off" screen before assuming it is really turned off. Sometimes I have to try a few times before it actually shuts off.

installed a startup manager and disabled some things
(whole homescreen because I installed launcher pro and a camera service which we probably won't need ![]() IQ was in standby whole night and screen was stil off. So still looking good for now. I only want to turn the display off because I want to instantly use the IQ and don't like to wait for 1,5 minute for it to boot ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, this situation about massive battery drain when the screen is off is not acceptable. I mean, just what is the IQ doing that's gulping so many electrons while the screen is off?!
