Hello
I'm Jerri from Michigan and I just joined... I have it on good authority that "Santa" is putting a Velocity Cruz Tablet under my tree this year and I hoping to have everything set up and running so I can start reading and getting the latest news on Christmas morning...

I have a couple of books on my computer that I have downloaded and read and already moved them to Calibre - now I'm just trying to figure out how to get the news feeds available. I want to be able to "view" the news feeds that I have selected thru my tablets WFii link - I don't want to have to "tether via a USB port Any help would be greatly appreciated.... seeing it to my "e-mail or can my choices be viewed on a website? Pro's and Cons of each....

WOW - thanks everyone for the warm welcome!! I'm looking forward to talking to everyone about "books" in the weeks and months to come. I listen to an average of 8 -10 audio books a week while I work, but I do miss the actual feel of a "book" and the written word. E-books are the perfect fix for my early morning "need to read" time.

I figured out how to set up Calibre (I think... LOL) so that I can view all of my news feeds - and access my books - now I just have to wait until Christmas to see if I did it correctly....
