Need help with PRS+300

Used the 300 updater first, then installed PRS+300. Now, book by title doesn't work (almost all books listed in the 0-9 category). I do not have a backup of the original firmware to restore it to. Is there a way to fix the 'book my title' option to sort properly? Alternately, is there a way to get the original firmware back?

Update : Was able to get books in order using a reflash with the Baroda(?) firmware (loc.Ru.clock.pg.1.05a.zip).

Tries to re-do it with PRS+ (newest version) and same problem - book by title is wrong.

Re-did with Baroda and titles work. Would still like to get PRS+ working on it properly..

any ideas?

Just downloaded 2.0.5 had been using 2.0.4

Will see if that solves the issue and report back

Nope... problem persists... back to Baroda. Hate losing the % marking on the page index (my main reason for using prs+). But, Oh well...

found a solution... Reflashed with Baroda, the used prs+ 2.02

this version does not exhibit the book by title sort issue. Both 2.04 and 2.05 do.

looking forward to a future release that perhaps an option for % only on the page index that avoids the book by title issue as well.

thanks to everyone who has put in the work to make prs+ what it is.

kartu sorted out some issue with the sorting of non-latin strings, maybe messed up with the latin ones?

Which locale are use using? Could you be a bit more specific about the titles? If it is Russian, with 2.0.5 books by author / title should work the same way. Anyway, please continue this discussion in threads linked by Mark.

Not sure what you mean by locale or how to set it. I chose English during installation, if that is what you mean. The titles are all in English. My command of Russian is so little, from two years of it in high-school, more than 25 years ago, that I would never attempt to read anything significant in it
