Hi Folks:
Well, my lovely wife bought the Kobo eReader (original) as my birthday/Christmas present. It's not as user friendly as I had hoped. We both thought she had purchased the wi-fi version until I called Kobo and found out I had the original. The user guide does not sufficiently explain everything and I still cannot figure out how to put free books and PDF documents on my reader. <sigh> |

Sometimes, we need to go thru more than one ebook reader before we find the one thats right for us. If you are truly unhappy with yours, consider returning it. If you want to keep it, try our Kobo forum for help in downloading books. Best of luck with whichever way you go. |

Good to have your company, Gold. Do take a look around the Kobo-dedicated forums here. You'll probably find that you don't need wi-fi, and you'll soon find your way around and be able to pick up the books you want in the formats that suit you. Good luck and best wishes. Neil

Thanks for all the greetings. After calling the Kobo help desk, I decided to upgrade to the wi-fi version. Hopefully, it will be here in a day or two.
