Hello~
I want to buy a Kindle 3 WiFi for my wife for Xmas, but we live in Korea and the shipping time is 5-7 weeks for the international edition. So my plan is to order a US Kindle with my American credit card, ship it to my parents in Michigan and have them FedEx it to me in Korea. I'll use my American address as the registration address for the device. Are there any problems with this plan? As I understand it, I should be able to download Kindle content to my computer in Korea and transfer via USB. For that matter, I should be able to use the device on my home WiFi here in Seoul--right? Is there any DRAWBACK to my plan? Please advise...thanks! |

hi, as far as i know amazon already offer express shipping through UPS (it's an extra $20). mine got across the globe in a little over 24h.
the problem is the customs tax which you might be able to avoid if your parents send it to you from the US. |
