Dilemma: Keep or sell wifi Nook
I just bought Nook Color, and thinking about selling off the wifi Nook. I love the old Nook (especially with 1.5 update), but don't think I need two ereaders. Should I keep or sell?

I would try reading with the NC for a bit first. With some people (me), reading an LCD for an extended period bothers their eyes, but the eInk doesn't. If it bothers you, you can keep the regular nook for reading books, the the NC for other things, like magazines.

The NC is about to get rooted. You could use the Wi-Fi Nook for reading and have the NC as a tablet/reader (should be able to switch between stock Android UI and B&N UI from what I've heard).
However, if you think you can handle reading strictly from LCD, then by all means return the Wi-Fi Nook. As I said before, you could still root it while likely keeping reader functionality. |

I have both the nook wifi and the nookcolor... Started reading a book on the nc last night - very bright, but not too bad, keep accidentally turning pages though. I like magazines on it and am waiting for apps to show up.
Sadly, as in get a life, I have a kindle also (will be keeping that) and gifting my nook wifi to my brother. |

Thanks for the input, I think I am going to keep it for now. I had no problem reading NC last night, but some of my sideloaded epubs do not display the text in white for the Night Mode. Kinda blows but that's not NC's fault since some other epubs seem to be working fine.

I found night-mode the other day mad a lot of difference for reading in bed... I also rooted my NC, works great, have a browser and a file manager. Will be trying facebook, twitter, and a news reader this weekend. I also have the kindle app loaded... seems a little odd, but it works well.
