yes, but no .doc are allowed. You should convert them to pdf for exmaple first.

Download Calibre to manage your ebooks / Documents conversions...

you can send any file to your nooks memory. you can only view these though on the nook:

* EPUB (including Non or Adobe DRM)
* PDB
* PDF
* Graphics: JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP
* Audio: MP3

I believe so. I haven't tried on a pdf yet, but I can make notes on the pdf's I convert to epub.

On an off topic note, I love your dog! Is he (?) an American Bulldog?

I have 2 ABs and they are both the best dogs ever. They seem to be used a lot in movies. They made the movie Cheaper By The Dozen 2 right here and I think they used 4 Abs in total for that one.

I have accessed my email account, but I don't remember sending any emails off. I don't really use my Nook for that since I mainly use my phone for email. I have updated my Good Reads account with it though.

Just Use Google Docs...
And then you can send *.doc files - you can view them either in Google Docs in your browser or via the Nook Color's Open Office viewer. In Google Docs you can edit (it's free).
