Remove "main_thumbnail.png"

After upgrading from 0.6.24 to 0.7.28 and reorganising and tidying up my library, I found 100+ of nasty images in the "Pictures" section of my PRS-505.
The name of all the images is "main_thumbnail" and there is one for each of my books.
I don't use the my reader as an image viewer, but I do keep some family pictures there and sometimes like to have a look at them but these unwanted images get in the way.
Is there a way to delete them, without corrupting my library?

you can just delete them, using windows explorer (there was a bug in the SONY driver on windows which will be fixed in the next release)

Thanks, it worked OK. By the way, I was not aware Calibre had improved so much since I had last installed it!!!
