kindle-3 available space

thanksgiving i was showing off my new kindle-3 to my sister and her husband.
showing them all the cool features ...
she then asked a question i could not answer.
since thursday i have been looking for the answer but can't find it anywhere.
i'm sure it's easy, but i can't find it anywhere.

the question is : how do you tell how much space you have left on your kindle-3?

i hope some has the answer

Your free space is on the settings page in the top left corner of the screen.

My Kindle (Ver 3.02) displays no "available space" or other capacity info on the Settings page. Any other suggestions on how to find this information? I also note that while one can set the local time via the settings menu (Page 2) , I don't find anywhere that it is actually displayed.

Ah, first the one I know - while reading a book, press the Menu key - the time and battery icon will show at the top.

And I thought that the darn k3 showed capacity. A step was left out. When on the settings page, press Menu again. It then shows where suggested - top left. The time will also then show.
