get rid of video pages

Is there a way to stop calibre from downloading pages that contain video when building recipe.

Look in the recipe forum custom code sticky. I posted some code there for removing links from the RSS feed list that has text (like "Video") in the URL or description.

I found one note on removing "video" from the title of article or in the url but mine has neither. Just a page that has no article but has a video to be played instead

The code you are referring to doesn't remove the word from the title, it removes the article when that word appears in the title or text or URL, etc.

If you can't identify articles from the feed page that have what you want to omit, you'll have to a do a lot more work. I don't bother. Just look closely to make sure there's no way to tell from the link or text that it has video.
