Calibre stops responding....
...whenever I try to add books directly from my K3. I am running the latest version of Calibre. Do I have to copy the documents folder from the K3 to my computer and add books from there?

I believe it is done something like this. Go to device view, find the book(s), right click and select add to library (or something akin to this).
