iLiad How to get: iRex's Development Package

Hi, i just got an irex iliad and i have tried to update the firmware and download the "iRex's Development Package".
I could update the firmware from 2.4 until 2.9 but it doesn't want to go any furder. It says there is a download error.

For the "iRex's Development Package" it doesn't show my mac adress.
Are there orher ways to get "iRex's Development Package" and firmware updates, until 2.12 i gess.

Not sure if it's still functional, but the way it used to work was that after you created an account on MyiRex, you had to enter that username/password into your iLiad configuration. Then, the next time you connected to iDS it would show your MAC in the list on the MyiRex site. That is what will allow you to request the development package. Without that config information in the iLiad, it essentially connects to iDS anonymously, which won't register your MAC.

I don't know the current state of iDS these days though, and if all of that still works.

you can still get the developer package from iDS, goto
https://myirex.irexnet.com/index.php/developer
login to your "myirex account" and select the MAC address of the device, from the dropdown menu.

wel, i can connect during connection test but the iliad doesn't want to connect to iDS. it says some ting like: error downloading, can't connect. in dutch.

Sinds yesterday my iliad also hangs quit often. The green ligt continues blinking and nothing happens. i have to reset.
