What is a Model D00901?
Can anyone tell me what a Kindle D00901 is? It looks like a Kindle 3, a Wiki search comes up with nothing for that model number, and it is not listed in the model numbers that are given in the Wiki.

Is it going to connect to 3G globally, that's what I need to know, please. Or is it a Kindle 3 sold for the US and going to have additional charges or reduced access to the web around the world, for example?

Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com searches reveal nothing, but that is not uncommon.

Anyone come across one of these?

I HAVE a KINDLE 3G WiFi GB. Its a replacement, a newer model with a Matte finish and possibly a different motherboard (revision). I JUST go it and its NOT a US Model! (The 3G Works)
