PRS-350 Converting PDFs with Calibre to EPub

Hi there.

I have a prs-350 and am converting PDF files to Epub using Calibre.

One problem I've found is that the page heading gets converted too for example the preface section will have the word 'Preface' on every page instead of it being ignored.

Is there anyway to remove these 'headings'?

Thanks for any advice.

As long as it's not image-intensive or has a very funky layout, PDF's are fine to read on the 350, I've found.

You'd probably do better asking in the Calibre forum: it does have an option to remove headers / footers on conversion, but I've never used it.

(it's also probably covered in the user manual, I've not yet finished the section on conversion)
