WH Smith's web site is currently selling the PRS-650 in black and silver for £179.99.

You also qualify for Sony's VAT-back offer, so the net cost is £153.19.

I hate the idea of the VAT-back offer (as opposed to a price reduction), but I'm getting sorely tempted.
