31% off ebooks at Eharlequin this weekend

Eharlequin have a coupon code for use this weekend that gives you 31% off all ebooks.
Goto: ebooks.eharlequin.com and use coupon code "TREAT" at checkout to get discount.
Mostly for the ladies but there are some action and thrillers for the guys

Hmmm, I just tried this (thanks for the alert, btw) but, while it says 31% on the website and indeed in the order form box, I thought the figure looked a bit low, and it actually only gave me about 23% off. Now, that's still not bad, but it's not 31%, so anyone planning a huge spend-up should bear that in mind

I experienced the same as Susan. Put a book ($10.99; eHQN's price $9.89) into my cart and went to checkout and it only discounted it by about $2.40 instead of over $3.

From the looks of the math, I think they're giving you 31% off the original "list" price, rather than from whatever other "regular" discount might already be in place. I think I read they auto-discount their e-books by 10% off the paper price to start with?

If you're not averse to secure PDB format, you can get a huge chunk of Harlequins for 50% off with the Fictionwise coupon this weekend. But that would probably be very inconvenient for most people to use.

Yeah, looks like that is about right...for my example, 31% off the original book price = 3.41 and then take off the $1.10 they already discount (ie. to get to their price of $9.89 leaves the additional discount of $2.31. So that looks right.

I thought about this, I really did, but I've never had easy conversions from PDB.

Oh, goody, I have an an excuse to grab some more of Jill Shalvis's backlist. And pre-order a couple December titles while the discount applies. Thanks!

Yep, Harlequin normally discounts ebooks by at least 10% on their website, but the coupons are usually based on list price. So if an ebook lists for $4.99 and they'll sell it for $4.49 on their website, the discount would be 31% off the higher $4.99 list price.
