Hello!
Hello all:
I am a new member from the Pittsburgh, PA area. I have a Sony PRS-700. Other than the glare  it is a good device. I do a lot of traveling and having an eReader allows me to take many books without all the constraints of space. The PRS-700 has been very reliable in the almost 2 years I have had it. I contacted Sony about possible firmware upgrades or possible trade-ins when the new models were coming out and was told no in both cases. It is a shame that they took such a hard stand but I can sort of understand their position since they are in the market to make money. After reading the reviews on the new PRS-650 I will probably purchase one to replace my PRS-700. Hope to communicate more about Sony eReaders and software management tools like Calibre. |

Welcome to MR, rmanazir.
It is indeed difficult to find exactly the best reader in an immerging technology. But isn't it great that with the competition, prices are softening and many readers are now available from retail sites? cheers |
