Hey there everyone, I'm from rural Saskatchewan, and trying to pick an e-reader for using while I'm traveling. I've been browsing these forums in the hope of eventually reaching a decision before my birthday, or Christmas. OR at least before January. I read quite a bit, usually 3+ books per week, so e-Ink looks like a better alternative for me than the LCD screens, even the one in the new nook.

I'm not sure what else to post at the moment in an introduce yourself thread.

I recommend that you do your research for the next four weeks. There will very likely be sales Thanksgiving weekend in the US (That's Grey Cup weekend to you!), and probably in Canada as well.

In addition to the usual suspects, I recommend that you consider the jetBook Lite from newegg.ca (I'm very happy with mine.) and the Aluratek Libre from Costco Canada.
