A chance brush with fame!

Hey guys, I don't know how many of you watch the TV series "Storm Chasers", but I had a rather interesting encounter today while driving home. I live in Michigan and was heading north on I-69 when I passed the Dominator going south! Yes, Reed Timmer's Dominator, stickers, Mezonet and all!

I'm still buzzing from the excitement! Reed may be crazy, but he's a storm chaser I really enjoy and admire. He does something I always wanted to do, and even dreamed of doing at one point, but never got the chance to do. It was really exciting to even be that close to the Dominator. It might seem silly for me to get excited about something like that, but to me it's an honor even being able to see them in person rather than just on TV.

I doubt he's heard of me. However, you do give me a rather interesting idea. Since I appreciate all that those guys do, I could be nice and mail them a copy of my books as thanks for being so awesome.

LOL SS!! Not even, and I live a couple hours out of Chicago!
Steven, I've watched Storm Chasers a few times, the last time I caught the show, they were in my old stomping grounds in the Texas Panhandle. It was neat watching that and knowing exactly where they were!

Oh, I bet it was. I've had that happen to me with a couple other shows, having them driving or walking through an area I'm very familiar with too. On a side note with the show though, with Sean Casey out for next year, mostly because his film is now done, I'm wondering who's going to replace him as the third team for next year. Maybe they'll go back and hang out with Josh Worman a bit more.

Wow, that's kinda cool guys! It's always interesting to know you either grew up with, or know someone who became/is famous!
