Hello and greetings from New England.

No ereader yet - will make the plunge for either the Sony 650 or the Kindle 3 over the next week - leaning towards the 650 for now.

Was an avid reader for many years - looking forward to using an ereader to get me back to reading again.

Having an ebook reader does make it easier to read, especially if you carry it with you. I like to take mine to dreary waiting rooms.

Be sure to see if your local library has any ebooks. Lots of libraries do, and this could give you an extra source of reading.

Welcome. I got my first ereader, a Kindle, a month ago and I love it. I got my cover a few days ago, apple green leather, no light, and I love that too.
