ADBGUI & Droid Explorer - interesting
Found this interesting freeware here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=4869749 I need to use wifi to connect my Nook with normal command line first (adb connect...) before I run this software. It will then auto detect my Nook. I can browse several system folders, can push/pull, delete files by using this gui, , install application, and many more. I try to find where Nook keeps its fonts for content display (Helvetica Neue, etc) to no avail! Exploring how this could help me do things easier because I'm not a techie guy. Hi stangri,
thanks. I've replaced stock Droid fonts with other Droid which support Thai for browser and feed. I also replaced helvetica fonts with Thai fonts; but this only change some interface fonts. I've tried that Asian CDs, it doesn't display Thai content in my epub books. I try to find helvetica neue fonts inside Nook so that I can replace it with thai font. |

bthoven, you do know that the epub reader has its own fonts and that you can manipulate with the epub stylesheet file to use other fonts, right? It's sections 5 & 6 at that wiki page I think.

I also found this Droid Explorer:
http://de.codeplex.com/ I download and install its latest version (0.8.4.3). After wireless adb connect to my Nook, and then run Droid Explorer on my Winxp3, it can detect my Nook but later crashed and closed itself. Has anyone tried it successfully? It seems having more comprehensive features than the ADBGUI. |

Thanks. I know about it and had tried it before (with DroidSansFallback.ttf). Unfortunately, it won't work with enews I fetch by Calibre (or I did something wrong??).

I know this is an old thread, but it seems to be one of few on this topic. I think I would like to use Android Commander. I've downloaded and installed it but it doesn't see my nook even after I have connected using adb. Have you gone any further with this? thanks don |

I can use Android Commander without problem and no need to manually connect ADB; just plug my USB cable and run Android Commander.
FYI, my Nook has been rooted with the latest rooted firmware. |
