Music and covers

I created a folder for music files in digitaleditions\audio. I want to show the cd cover when I'm playing the album. Can I create sub folders for each cd and cover for associating the image to correct cd?

I haven't made much use of my ereader as an audio player, so I can't speak about using subfolders for each album. When loading music on my ereader I just used the Sony Reader Library to take care of it. When I play the songs, they play in alphanumeric order by song title.

As far as the cover art for albums, what I've found that works is to embed the cover art in each song's ID3 tag. The ID3 tag contains metadata (such as song title, artist, album, and so on) for the song. When I play a song, the album art embedded in the ID3 tag will display on my ereader.

A free program I've used to embed the album art into the tag is called "MP3Tag." Not only does it allow you to embed album art into the ID3 tag, but it allows you to view and edit the other metadata in the ID3 tag. You can also do mass updates of songs, such embedding the same album art in all of the songs of an album.

I hope this helps.
