Grayer screen 3.0.2 firmware?

We have 2 Kindle3s, one has a noticeably better screen than the other. Better (whiter) background and what looks to be sharper text. The duller one I updated to FW 3.0.2. I never compared them side by side until I updated the one to the new firmware. My question is whether anyone has noticed any diff. in screen quality after the update. I tried to roll back the update to re-compare but it seems Kindle does not allow it. I'm within my 30 days so I can simply return the one unit but if its a firmware issue I'd rather just hang on to this one as it's had no other issues.

Could you possibly take a picture? It could be the firmware tweaked it so that it refreshes faster, but has a greyer look to the screen. Seems weird if it worked that way though.

Best to contact Customer Support. If it is a 302 problem they will know about it and if it is a problem with that specific Kindle they will handle it for you.

I have seen this too. I have a 3G and my hubby has the wifi, his is slightly brighter then mine, they were both on 3.0 when I noticed it, nothing changed when I upgraded to 3.0.1.......I just think some screens are slightly different, no biggie.
