Kindle customer service is very good if you nag a bit

The Kindle I ordered is a week late,Not lost but not yet delivered.
Two emails and Amazon refunded the expedited shipping fee to Canada.
Pretty good IMO although it did take a mildly rude second email to get it

Every time that I call I get results fast... At one time I called about a book that I bought by mistake and not only did they refund the money, they game credit towards another purchase for the inconvenience! How cool is that?

If an item is delayed then they nearly always refund you the postage. It doesn't require nagging though. They need you to wait a few extra days to see if the package turns up before they'll do anything.

It did require nagging in my case as the package had not turned up (late by 5 days) when I sent first email.

I have reread the first reply email and it was definitely a form brushoff with the issue not addressed at all.

And they did do something although the package has still not shown up. I am quite happy with that.
