I am a new member of the MobileRead forums- staying in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa. I have a Sony PRS 505 and am thinking about upgrading. I love ebooks - and is very frustrated when books I want to BUY is not available for download outside of the UK, US - Looking forward to many interesting conversations

You are very welcome to MobileRead. I have a PRS505 also and I enjoy using it very much. What eReader are you thinking of buying? Sometimes I have the same problem, and can't purchase books due to geographic restrictions......a real bummer.

welcome from North America I hope the ebook industry will evenutally eliminate these borders and make books available universally. Many independent presses are already doing just that.
