Am I simply doing this wrong?

my user generated tags are not showing up on my new Sony readers collections when I transfer using calibre. It seems to push the author names into the collections folder, but not the actual tags that I wrote on each file. As I took quite some time to organise my files this way, just because I thought how calibre organised your books, I'd really like someone to point out where I'm going wrong.

Can anyone help?

I have a prs-650.

Not sure what you are trying to do?
Could you express this more clearly.
AFAIK the current beta is the only version that lets you make collections based on user defined tags but I could be wrong.

If the poster is trying to use custom columns to create collections it may not be possible yet. But if the poster is using regular tags then by default calibre should be creating collections on the 650 based on tags and series.

Yeah. That's exactly what I was trying to do (the second one)

But the newest version updated my prs-650 fine with my custom tags. So consider this issue solved.
