Doesn't work on my company issued Curve. No shock there. I'm sure we got a ton of them free.
Even though I have it installed on my iPhone, I literally never read on it because I can't stand a back-light screen (iPad anyone?). More options are good, though. |

Warning - only available for US Customers
The kindle for blackberry is not available for non-us customers.
So, I can buy a kindle ebook and read it on my kindle, I can also read it using kindle for pc but I cannot use kindle for blackberry. I can't understand this. It cannot have anything to do with publisher/regional rights. It has nothing to do with whispernet. Why is it not available for non-us customers? Last edited by nollagkind; 02-18-2010 at 05:27 AM. I've been waiting a long time for the Kindle for BB.
I was able to install the app and buy a book in a matter of min. The books look nice on the reader. Though they don't provided the level of support i'm use to having with MobiPocket. |

@nollagkind: I don't live in the US, but I didn't have any problems downloading and using Kindle-BB. The only problem I ran into was in the Online Store, where the program told me that I need to be a U.S resident in order to buy books from the device.
That was corrected easily enough by going to Amazon's "Manage Your Kindle" page, and updating my country (in the Your Country section) to the U.S of A! |

Thanks
@angelbleu Thanks for that. I tried to download again today and this time it worked. I pulled two books from my archive and everything is working just fine.
Yesterday, the download timed out and gave an error message. Amazon Customer Service also confirmed that it is not available to non-US customers. Thanks to your post, I have it working now. Great. |
