Not Irex related, but an interesting project given the number of units around. It does need a special cart to run homebrew but the dual screen and the potential for scribbling sound good.

Yep, it's a DS running homebrew. Interesting, I didn't realize there was a linux for DS. I think the screen would be a bit small and low-res for reading eBooks, but I don't own one. Does someone here have one? How many pixels are there?

it is a special cart which runs an alternative operating system which allows you to have homebrew etc on it. It costs about £50.00 but opens the DS to running all kinds of stuff, even playing MP3's etc.

You just plug your usb cable into the cart itself and your OS will see it as a removable drive.

long enough that i dont think about it around 10 hours continual from my experience and the battery can be replaced which is nice.
