Question about a different use for the number buttons
Hello,
I'm pretty new to all of this, having had my Sony reader for only a couple of weeks. Anyway, I downloaded the WEV Bible form the download page, and thought to myself, "there's got to be a better way." To find a passage, you have to first, use your down arrow to select the book, and then it gives you another screen where you've got to use your down arrow again to select the chapter. Then you can start reading or looking through the chapter for the passage you want. Is there any way to use the number buttons on the side for input other than page number input? It'd be nice to be able to select your book, say Joshua, and then see a screen with two blanks where you could enter chapter and verse. Does anybody know if this is possible? Thanks. |

There is no good way now unless you just want to read the Bible from a given book from Chapter 1, verse 1. If you know the page number of the section you want to read you can type that in using the number keys and then press the center Enter Key. Of course you must go through the Bible and find the page numbers of books, chapters, or anywhere else you would care to jump, and then write them down. For example: I Samuel, chapter 1, begins on page 1672 of the KJV from Sony. It has a total of 7075 pages with the M (Medium) font. Type in 1672 and you go to 1 Sam. 1:1. Not very practical, but it works. |

Thanks for the link. I wonder if it's worth it or even possible to set up nested collections within the sony library program and send them to the reader that way?
