Volume Control on DX

I've been trying to adjust the volume on mp3 playback on my DX. After a cursory review of the User Guide, I still can't find it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I have Kindle 2, but from the pictures it looks like the volume control is the same place. On the edge of the top right is a small bar. Press the top half to turn up and the bottom half to turn down.
