The sixth book in the series. The Ingalls family now have a homestead. However they are beset by months of atrocious weather and endure hunger and malnutrition.

(It was not possible to include the Garth Williams [1912-1996] illustrations because they are still in copyright everywhere. This book is in the Canadian public domain, and in that of all life+50 years countries.)

Thank you very much, I must have read the entire serie perhaps 7 or 8 times when I was a child, and I'm sure I'm gonna enjoy very much another reading !
