Yeah. Alex once asked in open forum if anyone was interested in joining the Mod Squad to help out with the new Kindle coming out. I answered the thread by saying, "Sure, I spend all my time here anyway. Might as well be green." Next thing I know, I had access to the Moderators Suite and the "Don't touch this red button and we mean you, pshrynk!" rule was born. |

I am legendary in my workplace as a computer god. Whenever a computer of some sort is misbehaving and I am called to fix it - 90% of the time simply my arriving and standing next to the offending item will result in its working just fine. The other 10% of the time I locate the cord that has become unattached or loose and plug it back it. My latest triumph: Them: "My PC can't access the internet anymore. It worked fine before lunch but now it's broken." Me (after visually tracing some cords): "Hmmm, maybe it has something to do with the fact that you've moved a 4-drawer file cabinet weighing hundreds of pounds on top of your network cable. What do you think?" |

A lot of women have called me "oh God" in the past. Not certain if that is the same thing or not.
