Complete nightmare restoring library
Had to restore library, only problem is I have about 5,000 folders however I have to do one by one to get into Calibre. That will take me weeks. Such a nightmare. I've cried I'm so frustrated.
No way to add multiple folders at once or even drag and drop |

I don't know what I'm looking for. No idea how to import 5,000 folders with ebooks over without doing one at a time.

Your 5,000 folders are in one folder aren't they?
Can't you link a new Calibre library to that single parent folder? |

Each book is in a separate folder under 1 library yes.

Ok, then see here... https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/gui.html#library which is the same link provided by @gbm above.
Just create a new library and link to that parent folder. Calibre should do the rest. Right click on that Library icon shown in the above link and you should have the option "Create a new library". |

If each directory contains the cover, the eBook, and metadata.opf, and the directory name ends in () with a number in between the parenthesis. If that is the case, these are calibre library directories and what you need to do is have calibre rebuild the library based on these directories.
