Template error Saving books to disk

Hello,

i've used a template for saving books to disk:

{publisher:.2}/{publisher}/{series:sublist(0,1,.)}/{series:sublist(1,2,.)}/{series:sublist(2,3,.)}/{series:sublist(3,4,.)}/{series:sublist(4,5,.)}/{title}_{series_index}/{title}

It works for me and I had no problems with this template until version 8.6 of calibre.

Now, when I try to edit the template and use apply calibre throws this error:
calibre, version 8.6.0
ERROR: Invalid template: <p>The template {publisher:.2}/{publisher}/{series:sublist(0,1,.)}/{series:sublist(1,2,.)}/{series:sublist(2,3,.)}/{series:sublist(3,4,.)}/{series:sublist(4,5,.)}/{title}_{series_index}/{title} is invalid:<br>'ValidateFormatter' object has no attribute '_validation_string'

When using the template there is no error and calibre also show no error, when using the template in the template editor. Only If I want to apply the template on the tab setting "Saving books to disk".

See bug report 2116864. The fix will be in the next preview/release. You can revert to release 8.5 to avoid the error.

If rather than going to Preferences | Saving books to disk and changing the template there you can go to Preferences | Plugins | Device Interface and find the relevant plugin, you can do a customize plugin there and change the template there with no error.

(Or with the device attached, you can right click on the device icon in the menu and select Configure this device and change the template there).

Hello Chaley, thank you. I think the problem is solved with version 8.7.
