Calibre ERROR(RSC-005)
Hello, I am helping a friend publish her childrens poetry book. I am over my head and struggling with errors.
ERROR(RSC-005): ./books/Bo/databases/eBookIt/temp_uploads/1701532320.epub/index_split_000.xhtml(2,60): Error while parsing file: attribute "class" not allowed here; expected attribute "dir", "lang", "version" or "xml:lang" I get this for every page when running the epub checker. my issue is with the class=calibri">. where 60 is the > <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" class="calibre"> <head> <title>Unknown</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"/> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="page_styles.css"/> </head> <body class="calibre1"> <div class="p-p"><span id="anchor1" class="calibre2"></span><div class="g-fr"><img alt="" src="cover.jpeg" class="calibre3"/> Im 4 days of trying to figure this out. I imagine it is something really simple I am just not aware of. Thank you in advance and please let me know what else i can provide. |

thank you for response. Im trying both open office and google docs, then uploading odt to calibri, converting, then saving to disk, then running through checker. So im guessing its some box in calibri export somewhere.

ok, i was able to make a simple one page doc and change the html to your suggestion and that seemed to work. thank you, now i get to change every chapter by hand and pray.

You could use a search and replace
