New member from Absurdistan, USA (suburb of Washington, D.C., hence my not-so-fictional town in Maryland.

Hi yankiedoodle1776 and welcome to the Forum. Lot's of members from the DC area here. in fact' we had a meet up in Reston last Summer.

Ooh where in Reston? The town center? I live in PA now but I grew up in that area.

Thanks, Cassidym. Meet ups are lots of fun. We ran one last year during the campaigns for Ron Paul.

Hi Lilac_jive, thanks for the welcome!

Yes, Hubby gave me a Sony device. I'm in the process of loading it up. Sure is going to make reading fun for me again. I've always loved to read but my eyes have been bugging me so that it hasn't been very comfortable the last few years. This definitely helps!

I'm sure you'll love it! I know I love mine I just got one for my mom for Christmas too and she's already on the couch curled up with it.
