I need help with collections

Hi All,

I have Calibre set up that a custom column shows what type of collection each book belongs to (Thriller/Horror/Fantasy etc) now I know I am either overlooking something or doing it completely wrong but for the life of me I can't get this column to transfer to my Kobo collection(s).

What I have done so far
1. Custom column in Calibre (type tags)
2. Kobo Touch Extended ticked Collections/Create collections/Delete empty shelves and Collection columns: collection (same name as my custom column) lower case.
From what I have read this should work but it doesn't but when I change the name to series (lower case) under Collection columns it will create collections on my Kobo but the thing is that provides me with the same info as series on my Kobo.

So my question to you is twofold 1. Is what I want to do even possible? and 2. What am I doing wrong?

Custom column use the Lookup name (always starts with #), not the visible name

Thank you very much. Something so simple and that was what I did wrong. Works like a charm now.
