Identifiers: How to search-and-replace the id type?

I have a bunch of books with URI identifiers. I'd like to change them to URL.

I found this thread from a few years ago but following the instructions didn't work.

Any suggestions?

I managed to accidentally post this in the linked thread.

In case there was a mistake of how I inserted the fields, here's a screenshot my attempt to do it on a few duplicated test books.

Your example works for me. What problem are you having?

Note that the process you used will copy the URI identifier to a URL identifier. It does not delete the URI one. You end up with both.

I got it working now. The identifier window is a little small (I use "all-on-1-tab" view) so I didn't see the new url appended to the end.

If you want to delete the URI identifiers, use this.
