New Kobo Aura One battery question

Have had my new Kobo A1 for a few months now - love it.
Noticed that the battery drops from 80% to 70% in just a minute or so while reading. No light on. Same thing between 60 and 50%. The rest of the time it seems to drop as it should - a percent or so overnight on standby, and several percent during the day for the amount that I read. Very rarely use the light.

This must be software I would guess. Just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on this.
This is my first Kobo and I am not inclined to send it back or do much else about it at this point unless anyone has better ideas.

That's normal for th KA1, no sense returning.

Wight light off you should be able to get well over 25 hrs reading time on a full charge.
