				Consolidate identifiers

Many of my books have "amazon", "asin", and/or "mobi-asin" identifiers. These are all the same thing. Is there a way to consolidate them all into the "amazon" identifier so there isn't redundancy?

They are not the same thing. amazon identifiers are country specific. calibre itself uses amazon_COUNTRY_SUFFIX for amazon country specific identifiers with plaing amazon: meaning amazon.com (i.e. US amazon). mobi-asin is used for identifiers that come from MOBI files, where it is not possible to know what country the identifier belongs to. Plain asin i snot used by calibre itself. In any case you can always sue the search and replace function in the bulk metadata editor to merge identifiers in bulk. |
