Quick on the Draw by the late British author Gordon Landsborough (Wikipedia, Fantastic Fiction), a prolific and pioneering multi-genre pulp fiction writer and publisher, is his vintage standalone historical western action adventure novel, this one starring a hapless man who is experiencing an almost comical string of bad luck (wrongfully imprisoned! deserted! betrayed! unemployed! mistaken for murderer! held up by his own brother's gang!) who may possibly be able to turn his life around for the better, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press' Pioneering imprint.

This was originally published in 1953 by Ward, Lock & Co using the pseudonym Alan Holmes. We've previously received this novel free in 2016 as part of Shooting to Kill: A Wild West Omnibus combined edition.

Description
Glenister McCreedie was never a lucky man.
