On Device: Main (3 books) - but only one book exist

With connected device (Tolino HD) calibre main view shows: On Device: Main (3 books) - but that book exists only once on the device. I am sure!

How can I force calibre to reorientate!?

I do not know what you are doing to get this many issues.

On device is the result of searching the device initially Plus changes made via Calibre.

Metadata.calibre and the companion ID file are used to speed up the process.

The Initial Scan must complete to get this file. The FILES MATCH UP the device<->Library (and pc ?)

So
You either have 3 books in various places or formats on your device
The metadata.calibre file is not allowed to be current (write protect/blocked)
Does Not match your device/library (restored from someplace else?)
