Calibre not displaying properly in Lubuntu 16.04
Hi! I've just changed my Linux install from Xubuntu to Lubuntu because my poor little computer (a MSI U230 netbook) is getting a bit ancient. It runs really fast now so I'm totally chuffed, however I'm having problems with Calibre. When it launches the splash screen has a black box around the books on the Calibre screen, and then when the application opens it doesn't have a top bar with the -+X buttons on. Any suggestions?

That is a product of your window manager. There are likely settings somewhere in LXDE which can add the top bar with the minimize|maximize|exit buttons, and the box around the splash screen may be because Openbox is treating the splash screen as a regular application window and adding a box to it.
