If I pay 20 dollars to get rid off the Special Offer, would the screen go directly to the last page I read as soon as I open the leather cover or do I still need to swipe once to go to the page? I have the new Oasis

If I decide that I want the Special Offer back, would Amazon refund me the 20 dollars?

Yes the book would open on the last page you left it on without the special offers. (Hubby has the PW2 without and the PW3 with)

If you want them back I think you can reenable the offers but I'd be surprised if you could get a refund tbh. But I'm not sure, you would need to ask customer services I guess.

Once you've paid to remove special offers you can freely turn them on or off from the MYK page at Amazon. But no, you don't get a refund.

If you ask a Kindle customer service agent at Amazon nicely, they will often remove the special offers for free. They did for one of my Kindles when I contacted them via a text chat session.
