Probably a dumb question, but I can't find the answer. I have a jpg cartoon that I would like to send to CC. I'm getting suitable formats not found. Do I have to do something different in cc to get it too accept it, or does it just not accept jpg's?

Make it into a (1 page) 'book'. using the ebook-editor in Calibre

General steps:

Start the ebook editor (book with spanner icon)
File: Create New empty book <the naming stuff>
File: New: <name.html>

File: Import files into book: <the image(s)>

Open the 'page' (start.xhtml was the generic name created)
Use the Image tool on the current PAGE TOOLBAR, to place the image

Making a comic into a 1 page book is IMO achieved much simpler by zipping it and renaming the archive to .cbz

Yes, much easier. Actually when I zipped it and moved it back into calibre, calibre converted it automatically to cbr and CC accepted it. Worked like a charm. Thanks so much to you both!
