Hi everyone. I am new to this Forum and also a new owner of a Kindle Paperwhite. My question for everyone is this: We have a friend who has "books" on Dropbox.com. How do I transfer books from their dropbox to my Kindle? I am a newbie Kindle dummy!! LOL

Thanks for any help

Download the (Public Domain, I assume) books to your computer and copy them onto the Kindle drive. There is no native way to connect a Kindle to Dropbox.

Another possibility to consider is to send those books to your Kindle via it's email address on Amazon. Then you can download them as personal documents in the same way you download your books. I do this all the time and it works very well.

Once the books are in the Kindle you'll see them mixed in with all your other books. You can easily download them to multiple devices if that's useful to you, too.
