How to repair kpw1 with rescue mode?
My kindle paperwhite 1st gen shows it need to be repaired.
I can still enter rescue mode, and I tried update firmware with 5.4.4.2 and 5.3.5,5.3.1. They do not help. |

I repaired it with this magic command
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk0p3 bs=4K count=1K from https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=170929 |

What did you mean by "rescue mode"? Diags and enable USB store for file transfer?
