FBreader in Androids
Well, I encountered a strange issue.
I have an ePub with embedded fonts. I also have the exact same FBreader installed on both devices, a Lenovo tablet (ver. 4.x, probably 4.2) and a Sony Z3 compact (5.x, probably 5.0.2). The settings were the same. The same book is displayed differently, all diacritics (non-English letters) were displayed correctly on the Sony (latest Android) but some (and the same) were not on the Lenovo (it looked like that particular letter was not italicized). While I expected that there might be some differences in readers, I would not expected anything like described. Has any of you noticed differences on different (but not that different) platforms? |

Indeed, I made a mistake, I have loaded the same book from a different folder, which was slightly older. So embarrassing.
