Texture - Magazine Subscription Service Holiday Special

Texture, a magazine subscription service, is having a holiday promotion, $10 for three months. Normally, the price is $9.99 per month for basic service (all monthly magazines), and $14.99 per month for premium (all monthly and weekly magazines). They also do a free trial for one month, no charge but you do need to provide credit card information.

You can find a list of the magazines they currently have here:

https://www.texture.com/newsstand/

I signed up for the $10 promo yesterday. I wanted to see if the version of People they supply is the same as the one I subscribed to via the People website, and it is. (The version available through Zinio has none of the digital extras.) You can add up to five devices to the Texture account. I put the app on my iPad, and my husband added it to his iPad. He downloaded several magazines to read on his business trip to Mexico this week, and is quite happy.

Compatible devices are:

Quote:
Available on iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad mini™ using iOS 7.0 and up, devices using Android 4.0 and up, and Windows 8 and Windows RT PCs and tablets.

Good find. Thanks.

I went to the newsstand webpage. I checked the category that one of my hobbies falls into. There are no obscure kind of titles, just the more popular ones. Really what I expected (it's hard to find deals on those kinds of magazines, too). I thought that I would share that tidbit for the benefit of other Mobilereaders.
