Now all words with hyphens are "misspelled"
Calibre 2.6
Windows 8.1 Since calibre 2.4 it looks like the spell-check's ability to go to -misspelledword or misspelledword- has been rectified(Thank-you). Except now every word that starts or ends with a hyphen is considered misspelled. The hyphen is considered part of the word. So if there is "-book" it is considered misspelled, even though "book" is correct. |

I for one would like to be notified of -book as a possible spell error, as I cant think of many cases for it not to be an error

Those cases should probably be changed to a mdash or double dashes:
--book So, yes, they are a spelling correction candidate |

Points taken.
I had considered changing them to EN or EM DASHes. Good to know that would be considered more properer.
